Richmond Seafoods had a high rating on google and also was voted one of the top fish and chip takeaways in Christchurch. We visited today for a takeaway dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Blue Cod which was fresh and delicious, chips, potato (cakes) (scallops) (fritter)wontons and chips. Everything was really good. I would recommend getting the sweet n sour sauce for the wontons (which we didn’t) as I’m sure this would be good. Crack open the paper wrap to stop the chips from going soggy.

Kiwi, who lives in Brisbane, is visiting home and just wants good Kiwi feed of fish and chips. 10 out 10 , beautiful , best had for such a long time. Service was fantastic, shop clean and didn't have long wait. Thank you guys.

Best fish and chips around, the family that runs the shop are the most wonderful people, they always remember us when we visit and offer a kind word. The fish is crispy and fresh, the burgers are the classic “fish and chips” burger, the chips are the best balance between little crispy crunchy bits and big soft chips. I will always recommend them.

Very friendly staff and food was perfect chips were soft with crunch on the outside. Generous portion of chips. Asked for no pineapple in the jumbo burger and the kind lady gave me extra cheese as a substitute at no extra cost. 10/10 highly recommend
